CHEAP HELMET CAMERA -MD 80
Made this cheap helmet camera for about us,with free delivery to australia,from ebay.It also makes a great web camera.The tape i used to attach it ,is called 3M DUAL LOCK. The camera can be used for all types of sports.Dry sports that is,as it is not water proof. Cames with a 2 gig mini micro card.And can take up to 8 gig.The battery charge will last about 2 hours. Great in low light.And the little clamp with built in clip,will allow it to attach to belt ,shirt,hat ,and just about anything.Love to hear your coments.Steve
Takes filter software to remove the date stamp, google for them (sorry can’t remember the names, just read about them). Just got two of these from eBay for $20 US shipped and was looking for the micro card info; I got two so for longer rides/flights I’ll have one in reserve. Just found 4GB SanDisk micro cards on sale for $15 each so heading off to get them. The cards cost more than the cams did! :] Thanks for the vid, stevosid!

actually, at ebay, you want to search for AEE mini dv md80.
ebay is saturated with a cheaper version that doesn’t have the same features, but looks almost identical, but is different when looked at closely

Does anyone know if the SDHC micro sd cards will work on these. Or do they have to be the older standard micro sd cards? Any help on this would be great. I have ordered one of these, I want to order an 8 gig micro sd card. but I dont know what kind. Any help would be great. Thanks
you should buy a harness for your dog, he’ll be able to breath much better, love the little camera.

I just ordered a 4 gig card. Apparently class 4 should guarantee best results as they have quicker write speed.
Ok thanks I found a Kingston 4gb cards for a good price. They are a class 4 Think they are like $ 8.00 each or so. Thanks again
I think sdhc just means a card over 4 gig. SD ‘high capacity’? I think these cameras take up to 16? The literature says 2 hours on a charge? Find that a bit hard to believe really.
8 $. Bargain. Best I could find was £9 in the UK!

I think most of the ones I have seen only go up to 8GB max for the camera But I think thats kind of over kill. Since they can only go 2 hours on a single charge. They say its 40 minutes of video for every 1 GB. so 160 minutes on a 4 GB card.But I may go with the bigger card just in case Im not near a pc
